Inshore fishing in Biscayne BayAugust 15, 2016
Well, the fishing in Biscayne bay is good and should only get better in the next month or so. At night the bite continues to remain strong and we are catching plenty of fish every time out. Snook is the primary target and we are catching some nice fish in the 10-20lb range. While fishing for snook we are also catching some nice spinner sharks, snappers, and some big jacks. If your looking to catch a big snook and knock it off your bucket list then this is the best time of the year to do it. During the day we are starting to see bait in certain areas and when we can catch it we have had good success. With the live bait we have been catching some nice size yellow jacks, mangrove snapper, mutton snapper, and barracudas. As we get closer to September the bait will grow in size and so will the fish that are chasing it. September and October are some of the best times of the year to catch big yellow jacks and mutton snapper in the shallows of Biscayne bay and I can't wait. BOOK YOUR TRIP TODAY!!!!!!!!
