Summertime fishing in Biscayne BayJuly 21, 2016
The fishing lately has been really good. During the day we are still catching mangrove snapper, porgys, barracudas and some grouper when we can keep them out of the rocks or structure they are living in. It's always fun and when you when the game of tug and war between a grouper you get a nice fish to take home for dinner as well. The night time bite, in my opinion, is the best bang for your buck right now. It's not as hot as during the day and the fish are big and aggressive. At night we are primarily targeting snook and tarpon but you really never know what might eat your bait once it hits the water. It could be a 20+ pound snook, a 100+ pound tarpon, big sharks, or s big snapper or grouper. You just never know till you get it to the boat. On my past few trips we have hooked into some fish that just took us to school and we couldn't even stop them before they broke us off. If your looking to beat the heat try and night time trip, you won't be disappointed. BOOK YOUR TRIP TODAY!!!
