South Toe River Browns!April 29, 2016
The South Toe river has been on fire for the last few weeks. With numerous fish being caught and big browns showing their true colors of hard fights! We have seen mayfly hatches in the afternoon to evening and blue winged olives on over cast days. We have seen terrestrials as well with the warm temperatures also.
Be sure to creep up on these fish in the south toe as the water is so clear and reflections and shadows mean getting bit or getting ignored.
4-5wts work great with a 5x tippet material to launch bugs further and provide for smaller diameter line so fish won't see as well.
