During the hot summer days the fishing has been tough, but with early morning mists and late sunrises, the mayfly bite has been very productive, along with caddis flies in the late morning. Brown trout are holding the bottom on sunny days while the rain provides cover for fish to free roam in the shallows. During the evening hours as the weather drops and the bugs fly the trout have been feeding aggressively. Try caddis imitations size 14-16 and drifting scuds in deeper pools.
