Inshore Society FishingDecember 01, 2016
Fall months have arrived here in Tampa. With northern fronts pushing in dropping temps for a few days, the fish are in their usual patterns. However the water temp hasn't changed too drastically causing the fish to shut down till they adjust. The daily temps are starting in low 60's and highs into the upper 70's low 80's. Which makes perfect fishing weather and a very enjoyable day on the water. The fish stay pretty active in temps like this making for and excellent bite! Snook have been consistent and chewing heavily before the winter really kicks in. The bigger speckled trout have been schooling up as well in the deeper holes on the flats. Redfish have been mixed in here and there ranging from under slot to slot fish. A good sign that winter months are arriving is the flounder bite has picked up as well, catching a few of them a trip. You can't beat the weather and fishing here in Tampa right now. If you're in the tampa area, Inshore Society has some available dates, email or call us by visiting our website.
