Night time action in MiamiAugust 01, 2016
The fishing continues to remain strong even though it feels like it is 100 degrees during the day. At night the snook bite remains great and seems to be getting better. On a recent trip I did we landed 8 snook up to 40 inches and we pulled the hook on at least another 8 fish. That night we must have hooked at least 15 fish, with us winning a few battles and the fish winning a few as well. We have also been finding some snook in the lights around the numerous houses and bridges in Miami which makes for some fun sight fishing and light tackle action. The night time bite continues to be to the best bite lately but in another month or so things will slow down as the snook make their exit from the inlets when they are done spawning. During the day things have been a little slow the past weeks or so. The water temps have been in the high 80's which is very comfortable for the fish. But in the next month the bait will make its return to the bay and the fish will not be to far behind. September and October is one of my favorite times of the year to fish and I can't wait. There are still plenty of openings available so BOOK YOUR TRIP TODAY!!!!
