Here's a fairly straightforward composite loop shrimp pattern that soon will be going to war against some fairly educated bonefish. I think that in different sizes and colours this pattern has broad application. Hopefully this is worth watching.
Skagit casting has a reputation for being a few different things, and delicate is not one of them. We wanted to put our Commando Head Skagit lines to the test, single hand Skagit casting in one of the world's greatest trout fishing regions: Patagonian Chile. Using a variety of sink and floating tips, we had excellent success catching some absolutely primo trout on dry flies- both big chernobyls and tiny emergers. Watch some of this video and see if a Commando Head might make your summer dry fly fishing more enjoyable. And for traditional streamer tactics, it's hard to imagine a better line.
