WE ARE OPEN!!! Our hours will be slightly limited, but we are open 7 days a week from here till the end of October. Current hours will be from 8:30-2 daily. We are definitely running shuttles. Please have them called in and be on the water before 10 am!
FISHING REPORT
Big Hole: the river has now deiced from the winter. Fish have been holding in the typical early spring zones. Think slower water, maybe walking speed. Flies of choice have been worms, stones, and occasionally streamers have produced for us. The skwala stone flies are getting real close with some sighting happening. This is a great under rated hatch around these parts. Don't be afraid to rig a rod and throw it on the softer banks, it could produce! The mainstay is the worm and stone.
Madison: fish are definitely in spawning mode, please be cautious of their redds. That being said, the river is fishing extremely well subsurface down low. Don't be shocked to see rising trout in slower seams and flat spots. The fish are moving out of winter water and can be found on the move in swifter water. The dead drift will out produce the tight line right now. Hot flies are: pats rubber legs, small pheasant tails, medium princes, worms, and for the dries we prefer extended body BWOs(they float well in riffles)
Jefferson: The lower Beaverhead has this one a touch murky. There are fish to be caught tho. It might take some work and if you get lucky the skwala is around. Don't be afraid to toss the dry! Worms, worms, stones, buggers, and attractors.
Ruby: the tailwater is in full swing! Think two different ways, throw streamers for large trout, or pick apart the pools with the nymph. Period. Might find a hatch and see baetis here and there
Slingin' bugs this season with AFFTA! Swing through 4R and get your boxes stocked up, and help #kickplastic !

Fall time is in the air around Twin Bridges. The Jefferson river is back open and fishing real well. Portions of the Big Hole have been fishing good to great daily with streamers or small dries. The Beaverhead has had moments of glory with the sculpin or hoppers. And last but not least..... The Madison has remained solid and is starting to fish great when the wind isn't nuking. Give us a call if you are interested in a guided trip or swing by for the latest river Intel.
