Hmmm, sure wish I knew where those darn GT's are...our next trip is March 18-31, 2020 to Farquhar and Providence. 4 spots left...
Can just hear the JAWS theme as this Stimi floats over a dark spot in the water. Should be dry flies all day in the creeks unless...1 - you spooked the fish, 2 - are following someone else down river and don't know it or, 3 - been going to same spot too often! Branch out and discover new water while you can.
While numbers aren't great, there are some summer steelhead around, particularly down in the Cowlitz. This river is awesome to swing flies on too, just saying...
Super clear water and crazy gorgeous little trout make the creeks so much fun, sad to know we only have a couple months at most left for the season. Get out and enjoy it...
Water is low but temps are warm so seek headwaters and fisheries with colder agua or fish the early AM and ALWAYS keep fish in the water while unhooking and releasing.
Tom Paulson resting in the scorching heat of Oman while watching for crashing fish against the cliff walls.
There is so much happening right now, the only way to handle it is with more fishing, on a different continent, off to Africa to see some friends, toothy ones! Tourette Fishing - try fight it in Africa
Suddenly attacked by wild trout monster from the depths...
Helplessly floating along, a Stimi on it way down stream...
This one is ready for the silvers to arrive. Coho on top, only way to go!
Every little sip may come with a surprise like this beautiful fish from the small waters not far from Seattle, go get yours!
Finding fish love in all corners of the stream yesterday. Was nice to have a slightly longer rod for reaching across the larger pools, that made the difference!
