The amberjack spawn is in full swing in the Lower Florida Keys. Wrecks in water between 170 and 420 feet are loaded with hungry jacks. The only problem is that there are also plenty of sharks AKA. the tax man there to steal your fish. We have been losing up to 100% of the hook ups on some wrecks. Other wrecks the ratio is closer to 50% Other fish found on the wrecks include Black Fin Tuna and Mutton snapper.
