Fun day in less than fun conditions. Hats off to my team today for catching 5/10 on sails and a handful of mahi in extremely nautical conditions. Finished the day off by running over a huge shot of polypropylene and having to cut it out of the props, then a 20 mile ride home through squalls w/ 50+ mph winds. Can’t wait to do it again! tomorrow! #xtratufboots #grundens #blackfinrods #finnorreels #trolling #yamahaoutboards #contenderboats #mustadhooks #seewhatsoutthere #ruppmarine #advilplease
Fun day in poor conditions today. Tried to get a sail on Fly for Glenn and Tom. Raised three but only one teased well enough to cast to. We hooked it briefly but it came off. This one didn’t tease well so we pitched it a Ballyhoo just for fun. Also caught a little mahi and got aired out by big kings all day and had a monster Hammer Head all over our teaser for a while. Thought I was filming it but, I wasn’t.... #contenderboats #yamahaoutboards #baitandswitch #allaboutthebite #teaserfishing
Sails are moving down nicely and still a pretty good mahi bite going on with some Big blackfin tuna mixed in. Just found out we’re not going to fish the Pelican tournament, need to get some stuff done to the big boat and some personal stuff with our anglers family, so we are open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this upcoming week. Give me a call to get in on this action with some nice weather too.

Sorry, I’ve been gone for a while. Boat was down for a bit so took advantage and been hanging with the family. It’s all ready to go now though, so thinking about a good shake down tomorrow. Lots of this been going on though. #popspup #gundayfunday #treasurecoasthuntclub #quailsthensails
Fun first day of the Fish Heads Quickie tournament, wish Ryan was able to be here for it but caught three out of four and saw a couple others. Sitting in 5th with one day to go. Miss Victoria, Showtime, and Challenge have the first three places after day one. Great job to everybody today battling rough and windy conditions. Cant wait for tomorrow! #herecomestheicecreamtruck #freecandy #comeandgetit #teaserbites
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Rigged and ready for tomorrow. #whenpreperationandopportunitymeet #makeyourownluck #preperationiskey #gems #nospinners
Thank you to every man and woman, young and old, and their families for the sacrifices they have made for this country. We salute you. God Bless #heros #cantevenimagine
The weather held out much longer than it was supposed to today so we pretty much got the full day in. Target species, sails and mahi. We ended up catching a one sail, three mahi, a couple red snapper, sea bass and porgies. Had more bites from everything except the sail. Congratulations to Todd for catching his first ever and his first dolphin too today! #offthechainfishing #firstsail #whostheweatherman #MissionAccomplished #bucketfish #stoked
Quick evening trip today, not as productive as we would’ve liked but still worth going and lots of fun. Had a lot of bites but lack of tide made it really difficult to hook them and we had to be so close to the spot that we broke a number of good fish off. #dinnerstop #finnorreels #yamahaoutboards #contenderboats #mangos and a #mutton.
I’d like to congratulate our Captain Corey Hextor For guiding this lucky angler Roy Cronacher to an incredible catch. Swordfish on Fly! Many of you have fished with Captain Corey when he fills in for me aboard off the chain. We are available for night trips for everything from snapper to swordfish. Give me a call to book your trip of a lifetime. (772)285-1055 #bucketlist #dontknowtilyago #unicornfish #instagramfishing #epicflynight
Steve, Greg and Amy had a great morning half day charter today. We caught our limit of genuine red snapper in the first 30 seconds and then moved on to some other things. We had a number of king fish bites, caught a nice grouper and broke two others off and a limit of extra large sea bass. #goodeats #contenderboats #yamahaoutboards #limits you #instagramfishing #mustadhooks #finnorreels #blackfinrods
First day we can keep red snapper in years. I sure hope this one is still hanging out where we released him. We fish the last few days and caught sails, dolphin, tuna, A scamp and red grouper, Seabass, Mutton snapper, Vermillion snapper, and sharks. But in all honestly haven't tried to catch any Red snapper. We'll see what happens today.
