We've just had a cancelation for April 10th-13th, 2017. That's the last week of spring steelheading on the Hoh, Queets and upper Quinault and a great time to swing up an ocean bright chromer. Give us a call or text 253-255-5963 chromechasers@outlook.com www.chromechasersflyfishing.com
January wild steelhead season has started off really well with good numbers of large fish. February is a great month to get on the water here on the OP with minimal crowding and some of the largest steelhead of the season. We have a few select weekdays still available including January 31st, February 1st-3rd, 6th, 7th, 13th-15th and 20th. Long range weather forecast looks favorable thru the first week of Feb. If you want a shot at the fish of a lifetime give us a call 253-255-5963. #chromechasers
Fortunately, we only received about 5.5 inches of rain the past three days instead of the estimated 9.5. That should have us back on the water this weekend chasing big wild steelhead. The season has been good so far, but this bump of water should shake things up a bit and get fish moving! We've got dates available the first week of February including lodging and meals, give us a call to discuss! 253-255-5963 #chromechaserflyfishing
A little wet on the Sol Duc today but the Coho were biting pretty good!
David thinks this might be his new benchmark...I remember an OP steelhead on the swing that was a lot bigger than this.
It's November and there's still chrome bright fish moving in.
Don with a dimer.
Klickitat hatchery steelhead...mandatory retention so don't freak out on the guide cause it went in the cooler!
A really nice Klickitat wild steelhead...about as big and bright as they come!
Jay's first Klickitat wild steelhead!
Klickitat hatchery steelhead with Dave and Mike. These guys are a some of my favorite people to spend a day on the water with!
The Klickitat is still a little high and tea colored but it's definately putting out some nice steelhead...and it's strangley absent of anglers. I'm not complaining! #chromechasers #orvisflyfishing #findyourwild
