The Cobia are here. This is the first one this year. Caught by RL Glosson from Atlanta, Ga.
12 year old Griffin Meyers from Columbus Ohio caught this nice 50lb Black Drum. March 16, 2017
Today was not a favorable day for offshore let alone a Gulf Stream trip as we had planned for. But Dave Malone with his sons Matt and John along with friends Ken and Jeff had a great day in the St. Mary's river. We had to wait a while for the tide to get right and then the Bull Red bite was on, along with 2 100lb. plus rays. These anglers did not have to go to the gym for a good work out.
Johnny Brantley and his family had a great day offshore, Monday October 24, 2016 with 9 Slotted Reds, sea bass, vermillion snapper and 1 barracuda that just wore out 2 anglers.
On Thursday September 8, 2016, Mark Eby the angler, fishing with Pipe Dream Charters, had his hands full with this monster. Fishing a large live bait on the bottom in 120 feet this Goliath hit and with the drag screwed down tight it still pulled line off the reel trying to get back into its hole. After a 20 minute battle Mark was able to get the fish along side the boat and it was identified as a Goliath Grouper. This particular specie is on the endangered specie list and had to be released but Mark will have a great memory of the one that did not get away.
This is what's left after a 12' Tiger Shark hits a 5' Barracuda
Matthew Millsaph caught this Smoker King while fishing with Pipe Dream Charters on Saturday June 24, 2016. While slow trolling the Smoker hit on the down rigger set at 40 feet with a skirted live bait. This was Matthew's first offshore catching excursion. What a way to start.
