Just out just a few of amazing catches!
As of 1/17/18, we've decided to reschedule our trips for yesterday and today due to the extreme cold wind chills we are presently having. It's been a tough winter for angling this season. The deep South has been under ice for sometime now.
Although we didn't actually see this bear, it's always nice to know we still have them around! Our water have been fishing absolutely great as of late. Waters are cooling, browns are coming upstream to spawn, crowds are getting smaller and the leaves are changing, What could be better than this! Give Us a Call, We'll Hook You Up!
We're at it again dragging in the biggest ones around! This big guy ate a chubby of all things!
We've been busting the Toccoa a lot here lately. Running trips just about every other day on her. It's been fishing very well the last week. Trout are looking up and rising to Mayflies and Caddis! Give Us a Call, We'll Hook You Up!
Our private waters are perfect at this time. Bows are nearing the end of their spawn. Get in on the action now!
The TVA is still generating sometime during the hours between 10 am and 2 pm. We are still only able to do half day floats. No big fish this week but still catching several trout.
There's just something about setting the hook when you think you've snagged the bottom then it goes upstream. This is private water fishing! Watching a monster rainbow come up to the surface to take that size 20 blue winged olive. This is private water fishing! Give Us a Call, We'll Hook You Up!
For the past several weeks we have been seeing a pick up in the number of fish released by the DNR on the Toccoa. This may be due to the higher than normal heat and low water across north Georgia. This is a plus for anglers as the increase in numbers is a direct result in the number of fish being caught. Floating the float by drift boat helps us cover much more water than just hitting an access point by foot.
Guide Larry having a great time too with these ladies. Both were beginners and were hooking up! It has been really hot as of late and we need a lot of rain. Streams are really low at this time so we have gone to morning half day trips only.
We were up on the Chattooga River back in middle May. We fished the portion from 1.8 miles below Bull Pen Bridge back upstream to the road. This is not a trip for the feeble or faint at heart. Some rock scaling must be done if water is at average flow. Also the trailhead hike in is 3.3 miles. This is a tough and all day trip. Be sure to take a flashlight just in case. We normally do this trip with a minimum of 3 people. Browns up to 18" will come up to take dries. Use big streamers early or late to try to tempt a huge brown.
Check out this beautiful brown trout caught on the Fly! May is still producing some great catches. Give Us a Call, We'll Hook You Up!

Blue bird sky today. Worried about the bite since a high pressure front had just moved in. Turned out to be a great day on the water at Noontootla Creek Farms. Caught several big trout. Here is a pic of the largest one! Most of the trout were caught using a streamer. No doubt, good casters catch fish when others can't!
Check out this colorful male Rainbow. It has been a great season here in North Georgia. We're looking forward to warmer months and some dry fly action!
