St. Bernard Fishing Charters provides guided fishing trips out of Hopedale, Louisiana which is located in St. Bernard Parish. This parish, which borders New Orleans to the south, provides anglers with world class fishing for speckled trout, redfish, flounder, drum, and sheepshead. Located a half hour from the French Quarter, Hopedale allows easy access for fishing in Lake Borgne, the Biloxi Marsh, Delacroix, and Breton Sound. Fishing trips may be from 4 to 6 hours and typically start around sunrise. St. Bernard Fishing Charters caters to all skill levels including families with young children. Also, corporate trips are welcome and transportation can be arranged.

I took my buddy Mr Joe out for a quick trip this morning. I was scouting where I was going to duck hunt tomorrow but was happy to see that the speckled trout made their way into the interior marsh.

What do you do when you got 3 couples that do not want to split up into two boats?  You bring them all out to fill the chest with reds!  We were 3 short of their limit but we still had s blast!

Day two with Jay and his family was a little windier than the day before. That did not stop us from rounding up another 45 redfish. The Trout  we’re not as cooperative but we also managed a couple more sheepshead. These guys brought back three ice chest full of fillets!

We had a great time fishing this Saturday. This  was day one for a group that fishes with me regularly. They drove from Atlanta and decided to take advantage of lodging located on the bayou. We were back for noon with a total of 45 reds and 70 trout!  Thanks to Capt. Bob for helping me fill the boxes with these guys. Day 2 report to come. I had Adrienne and Gunner out for a little birthday fishing trip. We started fishing the birds for trout in the morning and put the good base layer to the box!  Then off to the Marsh to cover them up with redfish. After we got our limit we headed in to The dock with ice chest full of fillets!

Fun day in the rain!  We caught 40 beautiful redfish. Joe and Nathan had a blast. They also took advantage of pickup and drop off from their condo!

Day 2 with the Dr.
We had one leas crew member today but that didn’t stop us from filling the cooler again. We kept 20 reds, 52 trout, a bass, and a couple sheepshead today. These guys have ice chest full of fillets for their drive back to Tennessee!  I’m already looking forward next year!  Call now to get on the books for November and fill your freezer!

I had the Dr., Joey, Marvin, and Josh out today. These guys have been fishing with me regularly for 4 years. Today it was a lot of fun catching 25 reds, 88 trout and even bass and sheepshead w them. This is only day 1 of the fish massacre!

Another successful family outing rounding up our limit of redfish!  These guys came from Memphis Tennessee to take advantage of the bounty in Shell Beach. A nice little 3 pound bass and 20 inch trout also decorated the ice chest. Call now to get in on this amazing fall action.
