16 June 2019 Fishing Report
We left the dock with Marlins on our mind, but when I crossed one of the prettiest weedlines we’ve seen all year I couldn’t keep myself from stopping and checking it out. First bait in the water, first fish on. It wasn’t red hot and with only two people it was a pick, but we ended up with a couple dozen in an hour.
Unfortunately, the Marlin Bite was an even if pick. Only a Sailfish and a White Marlin caught in the whole fleet.

There was a small of body of fish found yesterday in the afternoon up the beach. We struck out way up the beach hoping to find the same condition again today. It may have been there, but it was above where we were. There were reports of huge patches out in the deep, but no life under them. We stuck it out in the shallows and hit a few wrecks. The hard tide didn’t help in trying to jig around the wrecks, but we got 4 Jacks to the boat and pulled off several more. We got one small school of Dolphin to come up around one of the wrecks and were able to pick off a dozen before they left. Ended up with 15 Dolphin, 4 Jacks, and missed catches on a few Billfish that got off throughout the day.
14 June 2019 Fishing Report.
There was a ton of grass out in the deep, but the Northwest wind had it all blown out into streaks. It was tough fishing through it, but we got a few bites so we stuck it out.
Ended up with 9 Dolphins for our efforts. Great crew to get to meet, just wish the hard work would’ve put more meat on the dock for them.
11 June 2019 Fishing Report.
It was a pretty decent morning. Grass was scattered bad, but fishable in places. We got into a couple of schools and had caught about 3 dozen before Noon. We were in the middle of a solid downpour when the wind shifted out of the North and started blowing 20+, needless to say the already scattered got worse. We turned towards the shallows and caught one more Dolphin, a King Mackerel, and a couple of Blackfin Tunas on the way.
10 June 2019 Fishing Report.
We had to pick at them, but we did find some Dolphin. About half a limit.
