Tipping your mate is usually 15%-20% of your daily trip. The Longer Days mate works diligently to make your fishing experience a success. They begin setting up the tackle for your trip the night before, and assist you throughout your charter.

When your arrive back at the dock, you may have your catch cleaned, which is typically charged per pound by the Fish Cleaners at Teach's Lair Marina.

04 November 2017 Fishing Report.
With the forecast of increasing winds we decided to run straight to the southern and drop on the triggers before it got choppy. Half of that plan worked out. We did land right on the fish, but it didn’t take long before it got choppy on us. We caught 40 some of them before setting the trolling spread out.
It hasn’t been a normal Fall yet, by now the nicer class of Blackfins should have arrived and settled in for the winter. Hopefully they’ll be here soon. Luckily there’s still a few Wahoo around in the meantime. We caught a double header in the afternoon and added one Blackfin to the box before it was time to head for home.
Unfortunately, a couple of the guys were very happy to see land by the time we got in, but that left more fishing for the other guys.
21 October 2017 Fishing Report.
We decided to try our luck on the Triggerfish first thing. Turned out to be a good decision. They were there, thick, and hungry. It took about an hour to put 75 it so of them in the box with three anglers. They were consistently coming up with doubles, triples, and even several five-bangers.
After that we set out trolling for a Wahoo, we had a few bites but only managed to put one in the box along with a couple of Dolphins. Nice day and plenty of delicious meat for the table.
