Hi folks, the Fly Fishing Show season is here! Join the Restigouche River lodge at the following two shows. Tell us where you want to see us next. It is going to be a fun time, salmon - salmon - salmon
At the RRL Atlantic salmon fishing is on the ice for right now. Here is RRL partner Keven McDevitt,
Depending upon your point of view it’s a great start to the New Year, weather wise. Here in New Jersey the red mercury will hit 52 degrees today, 11 C for you Canadians. No skiing or snowmobiling down here, maybe some spring planting. Happy New Year to all the guests, followers and friends of the Restigouche River Lodge. The winter will go fast and it won’t be long till were back on the water with of fried Salmo Salar.
Chaleur Bay at Campbellton actually still the Restigouche River, wide open and free of ice. As of now looks like you have to float your shanties boys!
A peace of my past, my coach and one great season. KB

Ralph Cavalucci, a high school football coach whose St. Cecilia and Pascack Valley teams enjoyed overwhelming success, notching four state and nine conference championships, died Sunday at the Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff. He was 87 and formerly of Park Ridge.
A demanding leader of disciplined squads, Mr. Cavalucci guided St. Cecilia of Englewood to a 72-26-1 record between 1960 and 1971. The most memorable season was 1968, when the Saints, known for a ground-oriented offense, went undefeated. They allowed opponents a grand total of 12 points and grabbed the third of their four state titles under Mr. Cavalucci. (three 66.67.68)

Sure we wish for the serious things in our lives, health, happiness, prosperity and a safer world for 2017.
Just to be a wee bit greedy, the best water and weather conditions for fishing, a grand opening for the new camp, every guest lands a salmon and lots of big, no huge Atlantic salmon.
With this the RRL wishes all a Happy New Year!!!
The fly fishing show season is almost upon us. We are starting off at Marlborough Ma. Even though the winter has just begun it is time to think about the 2017 Atlantic salmon season. we will be delighted to see all our friends up that way, so here is to the show and a great time.
The Restigouche River Lodge would like to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We would also like to acknowledge and wish the happiest Holiday to the folks that celebrate all of the other faiths and special holidays at this time of year. It is our hope for a much more peaceful world, let’s learn to live together. Kids can do it so can we!
