Located on the banks of the famed Davidson River in Brevard, North Carolina, we serve the resort towns of Lake Toxaway, Cashiers, and Highlands. We are also a short drive from Asheville and Hendersonville, and can easily be reached from Charlotte and the Greenville-Spartanburg area. A stone’s throw from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, our full-service fly shop--open from 8 am to 5 pm year-round--is literally minutes from the best fishing Western North Carolina has to offer.

The Davidson is currently flowing at 29 cfs and the water temperature is 49 degrees. Fishing is decent but technical.
Despite low water, we are still catching some nice fish on our Davidson private water. Peter Schleifer from Tempe, AZ landed this stud brown Saturday with an assist from guide Than Axtell.
The Davidson currently has a water temperature of 52 degrees, and running low at 30 cfs. Here's to hoping there is some relief for these dry conditions soon. #lowandslow #flyfishing #flytying #fallfishing
